I'm an ever-curious content strategist, UX writer, producer, storyteller, and creative with over a decade of experience in technology, education, and the arts. I currently write for the Product Design team at Airbnb and before that, I wrote and produced award-winning audiovisual stories and digital experiences at MoMA New York and SFMOMA. In a former life I cared for for millions of botanical specimens at the California Academy of Sciences.
I began my career as an archaeologist—digging in the dirt to reveal stories of the past through material culture. Over time I discovered the power of audio, video, technology, and language to tell stories that are relevant to today.
In 2018 I joined the Content Strategy and UX Writing team at Airbnb, where I helped launch Airbnb Plus and evolve the brand through new consumer-facing products. In early 2020 I joined Airbnb's Core Host team, developing tools and features to help hosts succeed on the platform. Just before joining Airbnb I was Senior Content Producer on the Content Strategy and Digital Engagement team at SFMOMA, and an active member of SFMOMA Lab.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and completed graduate work towards a Master of Arts in Museum Studies. A committed lifelong learner, I continue to hone new skills from improvisation to coding to documentary filmmaking and radio reporting. In 2019 I became a certified California naturalist.
