The 1000 Journals Project
A exhibition I co-curated with the anonymous artist Someguy, displaying books and ephemera from his decade-long participatory art project "The 1000 Journals Project." Beginning in 2000, Someguy left 1000 blank journals in public spaces, with one simple instruction: add to it what you wish, and pass it on. Since then, the journals (which are still circulating) have been traced to at least 40 countries and every state across the U.S.
